After you have made an appointment for an examination section, you may find it necessary to change or cancel an appointment. Be aware that you may be required to pay a rescheduling fee or forfeit your examination fees, depending on when you notify Prometric of the change or cancellation.
If you are unable to appear for your appointment, you must cancel using one of the methods below. If you do not cancel your appointment, or if you arrive for your appointment with the wrong NTS and/or personal ID,you will be marked as a “no-show” and you will forfeit your examination fees. There will be no refunds of examination fees for “no-show” status.
If you do not cancel your appointment using one of the approved methods, you must wait five (5) business days for NASBA to receive your “no-show” attendance status from Prometric. After the five (5) day wait, you must reapply and pay all applicable fees. You will not be able to reapply until your “no-show” attendance has been processed. Your new NTS for the same section may be effective in the same (current) testing window; however, please be advised
that there is no guarantee that you will be able to schedule your appointment within the same window.
If you do not schedule an appointment before the expiration date on your NTS, you must wait 5 business days for NASBA to process your “expired” status. You will not be able to reapply until the expiration has been processed.
If you are unable to appear for your appointment due to personal hardship or extenuating circumstances, you must contact your Board of Accountancy or its designee for further instructions.
Regardless of whether you need to cancel your appointment or cancel and reschedule, you will be subject to the same fees as listed in the Rescheduling/Cancellation Fees table. If you cancel, but are unsure of when you will be able to reschedule, be advised you must reschedule before the expiration date listed on your NTS or you will forfeit your examination fees
